Don’t make assumptions

Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

  1. Those are three insightful sentences. When I was a staff nurse? Listening to an instruction, keeping quiet although feeling perplexed and then later wishing you had asked just one simple enquiry for clarity? No. Autonomy demanded you were obliged to understand and act on actions. In perplexity you always, always asked for clarity as to why. Even in just one everyday normal situation it keeps others safe and makes life bounce along so much easier. This is across the board in many other examples in life. All the best.

  2. I totally agree.

So many people speculate, generalize, and judge when they don’t know what they are talking about within their misconception or quickness to form an opinion about a person, thing or a situation based on a false impression or from their own personal mentality/way of thinking.

As an unconventional person I always understood that everyone was different (even though many people share common/typical traits of behavior) and that there are all kinds of circumstances, possibilities and ways of life.

Communication is very important and one should always asked instead of making unfair assumptions.

    Great, truthful post you wrote!
