HOW TO BUILD CONFIDENCE AS A WOMAN

CONFIDENCE: The word confidence derived from Latin word “fidere” which means “to trust” and how amazing is that. Trust is the thing which we seek in others, trust make relationships strong.
Self confidence is trust in ourselves . Self-confidence is an attitude about your skills and abilities. It means you accept and trust yourself and have a sense of control in your life. You know your strengths and weakness well, and have a positive view of yourself. You set realistic expectations and goals, communicate assertively, and can handle criticism.

How can we build self confidence?

We’ve got the two most important and simple strategies for you that we know will work for you.

PERSISTENCE:

Persistence, which is the persistence of effort and striving in the face of challenge, opposition, or failure, is a crucial quality of successful people in all fields of work and study. The ability to keep trying in the face of difficulty is a sign of persistence. Continue doing the things you consider yourself to be bad at. If you are having trouble saying a word, repeat it several times. You’ll achieve perfection after repeating it numerous times, and you’ll immediately feel confident. Use this approach for everything that is challenging for you. Say whatever you find challenging to say while standing in front of a mirror.

SELF TALK:

Give yourself at least 30 minutes during the day to talk to yourself. Say positive things about yourself, your accomplishments in the past, and your qualities. Negative thoughts should not be ignored. Say positive things to yourself like, “I can do it,” “I’m good enough,” “If I want to, I can,” and “It doesn’t matter if I make a mistake.”

  1. Recognise what you’re good at. We’re all good at something, whether it’s cooking, singing, doing puzzles or being a friend. .
  2. Build positive relationships. .
  3. Be kind to yourself. .
  4. Start saying “no” .
  5. Give yourself a challenge.
  6. Learn to be assertive.

  1. I love this Sana. I see so many young students who lack that self confidence. It can be an uphill struggle to build up their confidence because they don’t know themselves and don’t believe in themselves.
