The power that the little voice n our head has over our actions became clear to me when I was sitting in at a talk my friend,
James Eder,As he stood on the stage, he said,Please can I have a volunteer?
You could amost see the audience shrink into their seats and the room descended into an uncomfortable silence.
James said again, “Does anyone want to volunteer?”
Eventually,a few hands went up, and One man finally got out of his seat and volunteered.
When he got to the stage. james gave him a present, thanked him
for volunteering and asked him to sit back down, while the audience
applauded. Everyone seemed a little confused.
Then james said, My question to you is this, Why didn’t you volunteer?
