Watch Your Thoughts

I realized that the first step in taking control of what was going on in my mind was to know exactly what was actually going on in my mind So,over the course of a few days, I kept a note of my thoughts throughout the day.

I discovered that when I was being productive and making great progress, the thoughts I was thinking were positive and I was feeling good.But when I was being really unproductive, my thoughts tended to be things like ‘I can’t be bothered’ ‘I don’t know how’and I can’t do it

The thing is we all think these things from time to time, and that’s totally fine.The problem arises when we’re not checking in with ourselves and we’re allowing these thoughts to carry us through the day and determine the decisions we make

So check in with yourself and pay attention to what’s really going on.

  1. Really insightful way to analyse ourselves. Thank you for sharing. We can hold ourselves back so much negative self talk. Only by realising what we’re saying and understand our actions, canwe start to make changes
